a few months ago,
DRAFT magazine hired me to shoot
akira back, the executive chef at
yellowtail sushi restaurant in the
bellagio. i photographed him with the dish he created:
beer-battered cod tempura with ume-stout dipping sauce. akira back was really cool and laid-back. working with great people makes
any assignment that much more enjoyable. anyway, here's a scan of my two-page spread. yay!
